Just in Time for the Holidays*

In a surge of energy that could only be attributed to putting off more important things (like a thesis or final exams, perhaps), last night we motivated to fold and bundle twelve new packs of cards to sell on our Etsy shop. We have new color combinations for our year-round classic designs, as well as the first-ever Pika Prints holiday cards available for sale!

As the sun sets over the Olympic range, signalling the approach of 4 PM, we urge you to buy from the smallest card company in the United States (if not the world!) that can honestly and earnestly state that we are not part of the 1%. Let's occupy Christmas and deck the Hall... mark corporation!

*If you're procrastinators like us.

Our First Retailer

We are happy to announce that Pika Prints cards are now available at the newly-opened Happy Trails Coffee in Sasebo, Japan. Click here (and scroll down) if you don't believe me.

Congratulations, Jill, on your new business, and thanks for buying our cards!

Last Call for Round One*

Thanks to your amazing support, our first batch of cards has almost sold out. We're getting down to the final packs of each design, so check our Etsy shop if you've been meaning to order a six-pack but haven't got around to it yet. As much as we loved the hit-or-miss, mix-and-match paper packs from JoAnn Fabric, we're switching up our paper supplier for Round Two. This means we'll have some fun new colors (and a new design) in a few weeks, but we don't want you to miss out on getting one of the limited edition original packs.

*Sorry for the mixed drink metaphors (no pun intended).

Thank You!

Because of our amazing customers (i.e. you) we sold over 1/2 of our first batch in the first week of online sales. So we just want to say:
And if you have someone (or six people) to thank, you should grab a six-pack of thank you notes today. On sale in our Etsy shop.

The Six-Packs Are Here!

Pika Prints has officially launched! Just in time to send your mom one for a belated Mother's Day, our cards are now for sale on our Etsy shop.

The six-pack is a classic. Six is the optimal number of items in a pack for most things-- beer, abdominal muscles, homemade cards. So check out our Etsy shop and pick out a six-pack to bring to your next barbecue.

We have five designs for sale, including a retro flower design from the early 2000's and a brand (spanking) new tree design from just a few weeks ago. And for those of you who have been waiting for the chance to purchase subtly Seattle stationery since you saw Karen's skyline fireworks design on our New Years blog post, now is the time to visit our Etsy shop.

Thank you all so much for the support, the encouragement, and for being patient while we got this first batch together. We hope you like the cards!

Coming Soon

Sometimes even manageable deadlines get pushed back. Sometimes March turns into April. Thanks for waiting. We'll be posting our new cards soon. Just in time for you to spend (a tiny fraction) of your tax refund (Happy Tax Day!) on homemade cards.

Rabbit Rabbit

Happy March! We are working on it. Stay tuned for announcements about our Grand Opening towards the end of the month.

Thank you for checking in.

Happy New(ish) Year!

Hope 2011 is treating you well so far. Here at Chalet-upon-Greenwood (Pika Prints headquarters),  January has been quite hectic as half of our staff is now in school in addition to working and the other half of our staff is now working in addition to being back in school. But between day jobs and night classes and day classes and night jobs, we're still working towards our March deadline so you will be able to order cards and get your April Fools Day cards out on time.

To left, you can see our latest design, appropriate for just about any occasion when you would need to send a card to someone who loves Seattle, or unique skylines, or the TV show Frasier, or fireworks, or just hates cards with words on the front.

Thanks for visiting, and stay tuned!
